GlowStickWars.com is a new social media website dedicated to celebrating the live music experience. Think of it like a social network centered around the photos and videos that fans capture at concerts - the kicker is that all 'albums' can be sorted by artist, date, venue, etc. making it super easy to find and share the show you're after.

We've also created our own brand of concert-friendly (safe, soft and thin) 8" glow sticks – called Show Sticks – and a portion of all proceeds is donated to The Mockingbird Foundation to support music education for kids across the nation.

Last but not least, the name. In short, the site is not restricted to photos, videos, or fans of glow stick wars. But a glow stick war is symbolic for what we are trying to create. It is visual, communal, expressive, and just an awesome way to share the show with the rest of the audience. We get philosophical about the name in one of our first blog posts.
